Kalugu movie review, Kalugu tamil movie review. After Alibaba and Kattradhu Kalavu, Krishna is back with a bang in Kalugu. The movie directed by Sathyasiva is engrossing and entertaining. A good script with right scenes to compliment the story is enough to make a movie interesting. Sathyasiva seems to have got his act right in Kalugu. With Krishna and handfull of characters that
suit the story, the director has managed to make a film that is rivetting and entertaining.

The movie talks about people who are neglected by the society. It takes a closer look at their emotions. With a team of good technicians in cameraman Sathya, music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and choreography by Dinesh, the director starts a winner.

Story
Kalugu is set in Kodaikanal. It talks about Sera (Krishna), Nandu (Karunaas) and Shanmugham (Thambi Ramiah), who earn their livelihoood by lifting and retrieving dead boidies from hills of Kodaikanal, where people commit suicides. These body liftres live a different life though they have their own emotions and sentiments.

One fine day, Kavitha (Bindhu Madhavi) who works in a tea factory there falls for Sera after he brings the body of her sister who jumps from the hills after a love failure. But Sera, who lives life his own way is against her wish, However Nandu and Shanmugham convince him that he has start a fresh life and have a family for a better tomorrow. All things go well in all their families untill Ayya (Jayaprakash) enters. He is a baddie and his act plays spoilsport in the lives of Sera, Shanmugham and Nandu.

Performance
Krishna is at his best. He shines as Sera. His body language, looks and expressions that compliments the character that he gets to play. He emotes well and his dialogue delivery too has been worked to perfection by the director. Bindu Madhavi lets her expressive eyes do all the talking. She is a welcome addition to actress who can do challenging roles.

Karunaa's and Thambi Ramaiah are the backbone. They give a solid performance. They deserve a special mention. A good how as usual by Jayaprakash, while Sujibala and Nellaisiva contributes their best. Yuvan Shankar Raja has come up with catchy songs and amazing background score. Satya's camera work is added strength. The colours are different and unique.

Analysis
Produced by Talking Times, Kazhugu is a different film. It has romance, humour and action all laced at right mix. Though the plot goes dragging in second half, Kazhugu is a promising venture that is sure to delight fans.
